The Water for Christ team had a great trip to start the year in 2017 drilling 5 water wells in less than a week in 110F and above temperatures!  One of the wells the team drilled was for an orphanage that houses nearly 30 orphans.  Also, several of the Water for Christ team members got involved with designing, engineering, and funding the restoration of the orphange as part of the roof was blown off and the building was unstable.  Before leaving Ghana in the capital city of Accra, the team was able to meet and visit with the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.  The Water for Christ team presented the Vice President with gifts and discussed the water crisis in Ghana and ways to work together to help solve the issue.
